Yesterday might have been the deadline to file your taxes, but if you were a House candidate, your deadline to file your financial report for 1Q was still April 15. Which means...it's time for the quarterly house fundraising roundup!
As always, all numbers are in thousands. "Raised" is the amount the candidate has received in donations from outside donors during the first quarter, not including any loans. "CoH" stands for total cash-on-hand at the end of the quarter (March 31). "CTD" indicates a candidate's contributions raised cycle-to-date, also as of March 31. We're also happy to bring you two new columns, "Self Contr." and "Self Loans," which are the amount of direct contributions made and the loans given by the candidate him/herself; this helps us truly gauge the spending power of a given candidate.
Finally, there are rows in gray, representing candidates who are still, unfortunately, filing quarterly reports in hard copy.
There are several exceptions to the March 31 rule:
- AZ-08 special election candidates, who filed pre-special primary reports for the period ending March 28. The district numbers here are marked with asterisks.
- Candidates in Pennsylvania, who filed pre-primary reports for the period ending April 4.
- Candidates in Utah, who filed pre-convention reports for the period ending April 1.
- Additionally, for candidates in states that have already held a primary, these figures represent their pre-primary and April quarterly reports combined.
