Or at least, that's what the Clinton campaign wants you to believe If you'll follow me below the fold, you why I titled my diary as such.
For the past week or so, I have been reading post after post after post after post of statements along the lines of "all Hillary Clinton needs to do is pull off a slight win in Texas and Ohio, and she'll score a huge win and blunt all of his momentum and become the nominee", and so, instead of pointing out the obvious, as I did before, I will play along, Hillary Clinton has been relegated to the status of Mike Gravel.
Of course, we need to ignore pesky things like Hillary Clinton's massive lead until just a week ago, the fact that one year ago, Hillary Clintn was the inevitable front-runner, and that she has the political network of a former President. The reason we need to ignore all of this, is because otherwise, we can't believe Hillary Clinton's most recent spin.
So remember everyone, even though Hillary Clinton has been ahead in the polls up until last week, even though she has near universal name recognition, even though she has raised and spent over $140 million, even though she was the inevitable Democratic frontrunner: she is so pathetic that barely winning by a couple points is actually a really big win for Mike Gravel... er... Hillary Clinton.

Update: I can't believe I need to say this, but apparantly I do. This is not meant to be a personal attack against Mike Gravel, his work in the senate (getting the Pentagon Papers into public record and his work on ending the Vietnam War) are excellent, I am not attacking Gravel's life's work. I am pointing out that the way the Clinton campaign has been setting expectations, they act as though they have the same sort of operation as Mike Gravel (whose cash-on-hand is close to zero). This isn't meant to be an attack against Mike Gravel, it is meant to show the absurdity of Hillary Clinton's latest campaign meme.
