This article is by Bernard Weiner on OpEdNews.com. It is a reminder to us all of those out there who are struggling and risking a lot to report on the corruption and dishonesty of this administration.
here is a snip:
"it might be useful to remind ourselves how far we've come in the battle to remove the extremists who currently rule so recklessly and incompetently in our names. And how the work we've all been doing in the political trenches, unearthing the corruption and incompetence and dangerous initiatives of the Bush Administration, has helped weaken that crowd of crooks and liars to the point where impeachment is a serious possibility. "

It also mentions a lot of our heroes in the journalistic world, like Keith Olbermann, and in the Blogosphere, like our own Markos. But it mentions some that we probably forget about too.
As someone who reads DailyKos religiously several times a day, I have learned so much from many of you (big names and lesser known names). I am proud to see what we have done to raise these issues. I know we fight amongst ourselves quite often, but when push comes to shove, we know who the real enemy is and those listed in this article help us keep the limelight on that enemy.
another snip:
"In a separate category I put the professional bloggers, those who walk the daily news tightrope, instantaneously trying to figure out what it all means, and thus helping to guide us in the hunt for what's important. They shine bright light into the dark caves of ignorance and apathy that is too much of American politics these days. My favorite blogger heroes include: ... Markos Moulitsas ("Kos") at DailyKos,"
Let us keep up the fight and also thank those who keep us going. I would add to the list Armando, Jerome a Paris and Bill in Portland Maine (for keeping up our sense of humor).
