Apparently Liberal bloggers using filthy language and their hate has overcome some of the right's sensitive constitution...I do believe I'm going to swoon.
Peter Wood wags his finger at the hateful liberals from the pages of the National Review.
When it did arrive in politics, New Anger found homes on both the Left (e.g. Howard Dean) and Right (e.g. Ann Coulter), but the Left provided much more commodious quarters.
Really? Now wait a second. Did Mr. Manners seriously compare Howard Dean to Ann Coulter? This is where Mr Wood's partisan bias makes any further serious consideration of his article as anything but another laughable attempt to work the ref. Comparing Coulter to Dean is like comparing a barking family dog to a rabid doberman. Care to compare notes on hate mongering Mr Wood?
Here's a few from Ann. Enjoy.
"These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzis... These self-obsessed women seemed genuinely unaware that 9/11 was an attack on our nation and acted as if the terrorist attacks happened only to them... I’ve never seen people enjoying their husbands’ deaths so much."

"There are a lot of bad Republicans; there are no good Democrats."
Interview with Brian Lamb; August 11, 2002.
"The Democrats are giving aid and comfort to the enemy for no purpose other than giving aid and comfort to the enemy. There is no plausible explanation for the Democrats' behavior other than that they long to see U.S. troops shot, humiliated, and driven from the field of battle. They fill the airwaves with treason, but when called to vote on withdrawing troops, disavow their own public statements. These people are not only traitors, they are gutless traitors."
"In the history of the nation, there has never been a political party so ridiculous as today's Democrats. It's as if all the brain-damaged people in America got together and formed a voting bloc."
Fork replaces donkey as Democratic party symbol; January 12, 2006
"They're [Democrats] always accusing us of repressing their speech. I say let's do it. Let's repress them. Frankly, I'm not a big fan of the First Amendment."
University of Florida speech; October 20, 2005.
VESTER: "You say you’d rather not talk to liberals at all?" COULTER: "I think a baseball bat is the most effective way these days."
(FOX News Channel, DaySide with Linda Vester, 10/6)
"When contemplating college liberals, you really regret once again that John Walker is not getting the death penalty. We need to execute people like John Walker in order to physically intimidate liberals, by making them realize that they can be killed, too. Otherwise, they will turn out to be outright traitors."

"We need somebody to put rat poisoning in Justice Stevens's creme brulee. That's just a joke, for you in the media."
Philander Smith College January 26, 2006
Now if only Mr Wood would be so kind as to provide the evidence of Howard Dean's "hateful" speech that makes him comparable to Ann Coulter, we can all sit down to a nice cup of tea and talk about the liberals problem with "hate".
While you're at it you might show me the Howard Dean equivalent of Cheney telling a senator to "Go fuck yourself" on the floor of the Senate.
Wood also suprisingly fails to mention the daily civil discourse on conservative talk radio.
"Why, she can multitask. She can breastfeed, she can clip her toenails, she can direct the House"- Rush Limbaugh Jan 5, 2006 on Nancy Pelosi
Conservatives have really shown themselves the masters of rational discourse. They are paragons of politeness.
Oh and Wood. One last thing.
