Thank you to 2thanks first and foremost for his support and his lifesaving visits to the hospital. It meant a lot to see his bright and shining face when I was there in ICU and then in recovery and of writing his many updates based on his visits.
Thank you to everyone for your kind words, thoughts and prayers in each of the diaries, they helped me pull thru more than you will ever know.
I will provide a short recap now, and write more later as I a very tired.
My initial surgery went very well. A mass was found in the small intestine and removed and sent off to e biopsied. They also found a belly button based hernia which was repaired. Surgery took about two hours, and finished last Wednesday and went very well.
Unfortunately after surgery, though I do not remember, I was told I was wheeled to my room, and put on a few texts and face book posts that were in complete gibberish about my room number, where I was, and how surgery was fine. I remember nothing until 24 hours later when I was being wheeled into ICU after the nursing staff could not wake me up, My oxygen levels tanked and my Co2 levels grew extremely high. They said I was near death and was lucky enough to be caught and wheeled down to ICU in time. Long story short I was in ICU for 4 days, where I got everything imaginable done to me and then some more, and then I was taken to a different floor over the weekend from which I was discharged earlier today.
I am very very tired, very very sore, but very very grateful to everyone again and wanted to make sure I put something up before I crashed.
